Every weekend this Spring we have been celebrating an event. This weekend our youngest nephew graduated from high school, so we had the opportunity to celebrate with him and his family on Saturday. On Sunday we celebrated a "Camp & Sauna" themed Father's Day. Being the Finn that he is, my husband has wanted a sauna (pronounced "sow nah", believe me you would hardly recognize the word coming from his lips!) at the camp ever since we bought it in 1989. Well, we finally added a sauna.
Here is the happy man.
Now for the finished objects. First we have the mystery project.
This Jo-Ann Sensation, a bamboo boucle, was given to my by this special lady. I used size 13 needles so once I got started this project moved along. I love the colors in this wrap. As soon as it cools down a bit, you can bet I'll be sporting this little gem. I also "finished" (I hold that word between quotation marks, because I fear that I will have to re-knit the neckband) Diana 2. Here is another picture of her in progress. . . . and here she is terminé. (Is that right, Becky ? I'm trying to brush up the French for my trip . . . a year from now. It will take that long--probably longer--) Back to Bea Bop. Maud and Becky are inspiring me to finish Bea Bop so I can move on to Fifi.
Beautiful FOs! The colour of Diana 2looks very good with your colours.

Thanks for visiting my blog, I hadn't yet seen yours but I'm very impressed with Diana 2. I love the pattern, and I'll have to look back a few entries and find out which one it is!
