You appear to be a Knitting Adventurer. "You appear to be a Knitting Adventurer. You are through those knitting growing pains and feeling more adventurous. You can follow a standard pattern if it's not too complicated and know where to go to get help. Maybe you've started to experiment with different fibers and you might be eyeing a book with a cool technique you've never tried. Perhaps you prefer to stick to other people's patterns but you are trying to challenge yourself more. Regardless of your preference, you are continually trying to grow as a knitter, and as well you should since your non-knitting friends are probably dropping some serious hints, these days." What kind of knitter are you?
This week I'll be an Adventurous knitter because I'll seam Adrienne Vittadini, knit a couple of pair of footies, and finish the Vogue shell that I have put aside (mainly because I'm concerned (worried) about knitting on the neckband). From there I hope to begin Melissa Leapman's HotKnits Diana. Isn't it cool? Using this: I love this color. Of course, I bought this beautiful yarn with the guidance of my color expert, Matt at Threadbear. I will write more later in the week after I have made some progress. Today I cleaned the house, took an hour-long walk, and began writing a paper that I am hoping to present. Little knitting accomplished, but the evening is still young!
I will leave you with a photo of beautiful flowers in a beautiful Orrefors vase my friends gave me for my birthday.
Gonsalves painted this beautiful, intriguing picture, a birthday present from my DH. This is only my FIRST painting of his.
I want Ladies of the Forest.
That Calmer color is so pretty! And that painting is amazing. I love it! :)
